The National Steinbeck Center, 1 Main Street, Salinas This is where you'll have dinner Saturday night, if you choose that option. The NSC is a state-of-the-art museum and archive of Steinbeck's life and work. For more information, visit their website. To reach the Steinbeck Center from Sherwood Hall, take North Main southbound. It becomes Salinas Street. Stay on Salinas Street for 1 block and turn left on Central Avenue. Proceed straight ahead to the parking garage entrance. Parking information - please note that there is a fee for parking around the Center:

Doc Ricketts' lab, 300 Cannery Row, Monterey is the starting point of our Sunday afternoon tour of historic Cannery Row. For information on "Doc" and this area, check out the City of Monterey's website. From Salinas, take CA-183 west, then CA-183 west to CA-1 south to Monterey.

The Laurel Inn, 801 West Laurel Drive, Salinas is the official conference hotel. Night owl sessions will be held at the Laurel Inn and we will have a Hospitality Room. The Laurel Inn is easy to find. Exit Hwy 101 on West Laurel Drive and go east. The hotel is on the right, just past the northbound off ramp.
