Betty Auchard, retired art teacher, started writing after her husband died in 1998. Her first book, Dancing in My Nightgown, Stephens Press, was published in 2005 when she was 75. It is available in hard back, paper back, ebook, audio book and Spanish.  

The Home for the Friendless, Stephens Press, was published in 2010 when Betty  was 80 and is available in hard back, ebook and soon to be released audio book. Betty’s stories have been published in four Simon & Schuster anthologies, the Mercury News, Today’s Senior, The Senior Voice, and a variety of magazines and newsletters. She has been many times on television and radio.
