David L. Breithaupt, MD
David Breithaupt, MD, an Internist/Addictive Disorder specialist, founded and directed a drug treatment center at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose, California. For eighteen years, he facilitated a weekly support group for recovering health professionals. Not addicted himself, he advocated for an improved State Diversion Program for addicted and mentally-ill MDs. Now retired instead of advocacy within organizations Breithaupt pursues this effort with reality fiction.
