Una Daly spent the first 22 years of her career as a software manager and engineer, the most recent 10 years at Apple Computer, Inc. After a life changing event, she decided to seek more balance in her life and left the hi-tech industry on a full time basis.
She spent the next three years as a Technology Coordinator at Christa McAuliffe K-8 School in Saratoga. She continues her volunteering at Lynbrook High in the PTSA and Music Program where her two children attend school.
Joining CWC in August 2004, just in time to attend the wonderful Steinbeck conference, Una was inspired to start writing which had been a dormant desire of hers. After several creative writing courses and a technical writing course, she started submitting articles to Educational Technology Magazines and has had 3 published in the last year.
Una is also an editor for the CWC South Bay newsletter and enjoys getting to know the terrific members of our club through her monthly member profiles.
Currently, she is taking classes in the graduate Education program at Santa Clara University and contemplating applying for a Masters Degree in Learning and Technology.
