Michelle has been a professional writer for more than twenty-five years, with credits from local and national publications. She has been a feature writer/reporter for the community papers, including the Los Gatos Times Observer, Cupertino Courier and the Saratoga News.
She is the author of Jewish Plays for Jewish Days, a book of plays geared for elementary grade students, Nathan the Needle and Other Stories by Rabbi Gitin, a collection of short stories for children on moral and ethical concepts, A Different Kind of Day, a whimsical rhyming story of a little boy who wakes up one morning to find that everything has been turned around (and an April Fool's Day spin which makes the book a cute gift to give to someone on April first), and Rucheleh's Challah, the story of a little girl who learns to bake challah, the traditional bread served on Shabbat (the Sabbath) by watching her grandmother.
