Gary Singh is a professional journalist, essayist, critic, scriptor horibilis, and an asp-tongued guttersnipe with a multidisciplinary past, a miscellaneous present and a wide-ranging future. He has published articles about computer graphics, art, travel, food, music, soccer, hockey, watermelon radishes, $5000 Japanese toilets, robotic surgery, spoonbending, artificial intelligence, Leonard Cohen, vacant lots and much more. His day job is at Metro, Silicon Valley’s weekly newspaper, for whom he writes a weekly column among many other things. As a freelancer he has written for Sunset, The Meeting Professional, IEEE Computer Graphics, ReadyMade, Islands, Chess Life and many more.
