WritersTalk Staff

Dick Amyx,  Managing Editor

WritersTalk is not the province of a few. It belongs to all the members of SBW. It provides a service to the club by keeping members aware of club business, by publishing information about the craft and business of writing, and by offering a place to showcase members' works. It's my goal to make this service as valuable as possible to the members of SBW, and I invite each and every one of you to take full advantage of it.

Andrea Galvacs, Contributing Editor

During my two years as contributing editor of WritersTalk I discovered that I enjoy proofreading and editing more than writing. Although English is a miserable language, I love it and am very finicky when it comes to grammar. Thanks to everybody's work the newsletter is a stellar one and my intention is to make it completely free of errors, that is, with all the t's crossed and the i's dotted.

Una Daly, Contributing Editor

I have been an editor for and contributor to WritersTalk for the last two and a half years. It is a fun team that works together to produce the highest possible quality newsletter. I have enjoyed being the columns editor and profiles author and am now focusing on writing contests and a freelance non-fiction piece each month. Please continue sending your wonderful submittals our way as they keep the newsletter alive and compelling.

Jackie Mutz, Contributing Editor

As an editor for WT, I enjoy writing and editing/proofing fellow writers' work. It is an honor to be part of the WT; as Arnold said, it "pumps me up," making me ready to go write that great American poetry anthology in about one minute. I hope to be part of the WT editing staff who continue to create a snazzy little newsletter.

Richard Burns, Contributing Editor

For three years I’ve been watching others volunteer, sweat, and contribute their share of heavy lifting, keeping the quality of WritersTalk high, so now I’ll see if I can chip in. My expertise is probably teaching from my own trials and errors, of which I have many, but will gladly fill in wherever new assignments lead. Some high mucky-muck in publishing may be reading this stuff and see my name.

Carolyn Donnell, Contributing Editor

As a new contributing editor and a fairly new writer, I can witness first hand the editing abilities of the veterans on the staff. I have enjoyed the newsletter in the past, finding out what is happening to fellow members and what is going on out in the writing world. I hope to be able to contribute to that pool of knowledge while I learn to be a better writer.

Lita Kurth, Contributing Editor

As a new contributing editor, I hope to help members know about one another's interests and expertise as well as offering helpful news of the writing world. With one foot in fiction and one in creative non-fiction, an arm in poetry, and a thumb in screenwriting, I probably share some kind of writing interest with everyone in the club.
