Minutes from the February meeting were moved/seconded/carried.
The April 7th General Membership Meeting will be held at the China Stix Restaurant.
The cost will be $30 per person for the meal.
AI (artificial intelligence) will be the focus.
Elections
It is time for chapter elections. An Election Chairperson is needed. Nominations will be taken during the April Meeting, and the voting will take place during the June Meeting.
Board Reports
There are currently 102 members of the SBWC.
Digital News Communications twice per month in Jan, Feb, Mar. Newsletter editor still pending.
Hal will be adding View from the Board, Member News, and Speaker Recaps on the SBWC website.
We are still considering locations for the May and June General Membership Meetings.
Berkeley Book Fair Update – SBW will host a table at this event. Interested individuals sign-up at April and May meetings or by contacting pres@southbaywriters.com
Open Mic continues under the leadership of Bill Baldwin. In-person open mic events have been very successful in Dec, Jan, Feb. Plan is to continue in-person once per month. Zoom open mic will also continue once per mon.
